Yes, yes, yes. Trump is a pathological liar and a sociopath. And the debates are pretty much a joke, because no one corrects or sanctions Trump for lying. The moderators do not moderate; they don't do their job. Trump can't help himself, he is a sociopath, and the fact that he is woefully uninformed and unintelligent is offset by the lies he tells. But this has been said a million times. And he is immoral and a convicted felon and a lifetime criminal and a serial sex offender, and so on.
But it seems there's a bigger issue, which is that the Democratic party doesn't listen to its own party members. The last time this happened is when the party put up Hilary Clinton against Trump in 2016. It looks like both parties are more interested in carrying out their behind-closed-doors favoritism than serving their own members.
Biden, even if asleep, makes a better president than Trump if for no other reason than the fact that he has a system staffed by experts in place to run the nation. Biden's people are competent; Trump's are not. The results are obvious in Biden's success (the economy, immigration, etc), success that eluded Trump in his own presidency, despite his persistent lies. HOWEVER, Biden is too old just as Trump is too pathological (and old, because if he does win he too will be in his 80s during his term).
The time to have thought about Biden's replacement was a couple of years ago. Now there's a predicament, a crunch, an emergency.
