When you listen to Trump, consider his criminal record since he was young to the present day, listen to the reports of sexual assaults from his victims, hear the personal accounts of many workers whom he never paid, listen to his record-breaking number of lies, consider his utter lack of morality, and his attempt to overthrow the government, and understand what a sociopath's traits are, then what we see about Trump are not invented by the media.
Trump is a despicable human being and his ardent base has no moral compass to embrace and ignore his manifold crimes. Blaming his criminality on the media is an easy way out of admitting to what he is as a human being. True to his psychopathy, Trump finds a way to blame everyone and anyone on his crimes. We have seen this in the recent NY trial where he cheated the banks and the city and broke the law and then painted the whole thing to be a witch hunt by the Democrats. No, if you break the law then it is your fault no matter whom you blame to sate your own sense of entitlement to do what you want. Only hapless followers find sense in such scapegoating.
Perhaps it takes some background in psychology and sociopathy to truly grasp what Trump is, but even without this, when you only consider the things he has said, and his actions, then for you to blame his bad image on the media is disingenuous and insincere (unless you have no insight or real world experience with people like him). Trump's closest associates, time and again, have portrayed him as a self-centered con artist who cares only for himself. One by one they all find a way of separating from him because they know he will turn on them as well, just as he does to everyone he has ever come into contact with.
Very, very few people ever learn how to assess another human being based on their words and deeds instead of according to their emotional needs and fears. And this creates an illusion that no fact or law can dissipate in favor of seeing the actuality of the situation instead of a presupposition. Trump is a lifelong con artist, drifter, pathological liar, thief, cheater, manipulator, and megalomaniac. This is not an opinion; it is all provable with his own words and actions. While both the left wing and the right wing paint a biased picture of Trump, the facts remain with Trump's track record as a criminal out for his own good.
