When I disagreed with Douglas Giles a couple of years ago he answered with a rude comment and then blocked me and that was the end of our dialog.

The problem with Giles and others like him is that they have no personal experience enquiring into the self. All of what they say is secondhand information. To actually know that the self is an illusion beyond an intellectual understanding, self enquiry is required, which is a personal observation of what the self is. By eliminating all that is not the self it becomes obvious that the self does not exist, as confusing as this may sound.
