This is an interesting approach to dreams. I, too, have noticed these amalgamations taking place in my own dreams and dreams I have heard others speak of. I am not certain at this point why this occurs, but I suspect it has to do with the way the brain creates associations. By analogy, the internet is built upon such associations, so we have all become so much more familiar with the process than generations before us.
While contents and mechanics of dreams are interesting and may be helpful in understanding ourselves and our relationships better, my main interest is how we, as expressions of a singular consciousness, embody each form, character, scene, animal, etc., within each dream. In essence, we are not only "having" a dream, but we ARE the dream and all of its parts.
