This is a good article full of well-thought-out conclusions. But what is your solution to the problem?

For one thing, it seems that minorities in this country need to stand together. Jews, Hispanics, Black people, Asians, and others need to unite, because right now they are allowing the same forces you mentioned in your article to divide us.

Recognize it or not, the group that foments the hate and bigotry is not the majority and does not represent the majority. HOWEVER, human nature is such that people tend to remain quiet and allow fascist, racist, misogynist policies and actions to take place. This is a problem on the most individualistic level. Society is only a reflection of such behavior.

The divisions of black and white are only in people's minds. This is learned behavior and not a biological characteristic. The question is how we can foment love and acceptance in the following generations. We have to begin with socially changing the mindset. We cannot rely on government to come to our rescue, because we have seen that it won't happen.
