These kinds of stories are so loaded and lead to all sorts of new ideas. There's not a lot more that I can say on this matter and whether Israel has a right to exist, because it's all been said before. If someone doesn't care to read the history and find out for themselves what the demographics are and the nature of the decades-long hostility, then what can be done?
One of the main points here is the response of the Left. It is quite the irony that a segment of the population, on the Left, calls for more people of color when they themselves are not persons of color. Next, a study of the actual demographics of Israel will show that Jewish people make up less than 47 percent of all those living west of the Jordan River. There are 7.45 million Jews and others along with 7.53 million Arab Israelis and Palestinians living in Israel plus the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Only about 30% of Israeli Jews are Ashkenazi, or the descendants of European Jews. More of these statistics can be found with a 5 second search on google.
The next major issue, which is all-important, is Arab propaganda that is in the can and ready to be released across all media in an instant. It seems planned along with every terrorist strike against Israel to immediately posit the idea that Israel is the aggressor, fomenters of genocide and apartheid, and so on.
The people on the left gained their reputation for showing compassion and a cry for equality and righteousness. Now they are easily swayed and their arguments so often betray their very ideals. Pro-Palestinian sentiment does not necessitate antisemitism, but that's the way it plays out. Owing to all the propaganda, especially coming from the United Nations which has a long record of anti-Israeli actions and condemnations, the atrocities of terrorism are almost immediately covered over by outrage over Israel's attempts to defend itself and retrieve its hostages, which by the way is the way any nation would respond.
I will repeat that Israel is not 100% right in its response, but the fact remains that the terrorist groups in Gaza use human shields in hospitals, schools, etc., but the Left doesn't speak about such things.
It's not my intention to bash the Left, because the Right is much worse and in America is currently teetering on overthrowing the US Constitution. This has become a blatant goal for decades that is now being said outright at Trump rallies and from Trump himself. (If you have a computer and access to internet you can find unbiased footage of such comments).
Without democracy all hell breaks loose and massive destruction and death follows. The bottom line is that the Left needs to really be woke to the facts and not just say they are woke because they support gay and women's rights and other worthy causes.
