“…reason eventually objectifies whatever it enables us to understand.” This is a paradox that gets to the core of things. I have personally spent countless hours considering this in regard to what we are as beings in a world that is made of a reality that is hardly understood — a reality that reason cannot penetrate. Yet it takes reason to enter into the meditation; and it seems that this fact supports your next main point (in my view, anyway): “Objectivity is impossible.”

I would add to all of this, based on your last paragraph, that human beings seem to need to be told what to think and believe. Left to their own devices it seems they too frequently turn feral.
