Judaism is as absurd as Christianity or any other religion — just as divisive, just as dogmatic. People are in fear so they cling to beliefs that make them feel safe. The absurdity of religion is only of concern to non-religious people. And, of course, if we express this within our own ranks we are derided as self-hating Jews or something similar. But self-hating is actually what happens when you punish yourself by adhering to manmade rules designed to be divisive and controlling.
