I've watched this struggle for at least 60 years and I have studied the region and politics involved. But beyond these issues there are some curious ideas that strike me as odd. First, just imagine the world dictating to the United States, Great Britain, France, or even Russia that they should create two states within their borders. Imagine their reactions. I am a hundred percent certain that none of these countries would even entertain the idea and then would lash out that no one has any right to tell a sovereign nation what to do. End of story.

While there is often an argument against rehashing history and all the times the world has failed and mistreated the Palestinian people, the fact remains that their political history has set the tone for all the decades to come, right up until the present.

Israel has never gone into any Arab state, let alone the Palestinian territories, and murdered, raped, beheaded, tortured, and imprisoned Palestinians. Never. And yet the Palestinians have done this over and over again. They even did it in front of the entire world at the Olympic Games in 1972, and then recently on Oct 7. What was the world's response? "Poor Palestinians."

Is it horrible that Palestinian women, children, and noncombatants are being killed? Of course it is. But the world fell right into the hands of the propaganda-makers to start yet another thread of antiJewish (Zionist) attacks and demonstrations. It would be amusing if it weren't for the suffering on both sides, as well as the suffering of innocent Jews around the world while people love to fall back on the nonsense that they are antiZionist and not really anti-Jewish.
