In the spirit of what i write about, emotions such as anger are always within us, because they are part of the contents of consciousness. Therefore, trying to suppress it, redirect it, or deny it merely furthers the self's conflict because it does not accept what it is in totality. This is a different philosophy from psychology, which works to recondition the already conditioned mind. It is not a matter of which of these two approaches is better, but rather what one is trying to accomplish. I teach about how to find out what the self is and how to find what is deeper, but psychology is about helping people be better adjusted, calmer, happier, etc.
