I am not interested in what faiths profess or have to say, because this has nothing to do with reality. This is not to say that religion is not helpful or contains words of wisdom. But I am trying to say that reality, which is what lies beyond the sense of self, is not something you can know by reading, studying, praying, or believing. Rather, it is a personal exploration into your own self. So information, belief, ideas, assumptions, religion, science, and all else is contained within the essential Self and therefore cannot allow you to step out of it.

The ideas and beliefs of humans keep the self in play, going around and around in a cycle of pain and pleasure. What is created by the self, including religious and scientific ideas and findings, cannot get you out of the self.

When you quote to me out of the Qur'an, I look at the quote and see that this is a potential guide to find out for yourself if it is true, and to read deeper than the words themselves. The truth is embedded. For example, your quote "Devote your worship to Allah alone," is a guide to find God (ultimate consciousness) as your own Self, because complete devotion shuts out all the ideas, memories, and suppositions of the sense of self that is locked into a false reality. So these quotes and teachings have value, but not as beliefs or admonitions, or statements meant to control people and disallow them from their own enquiry.
