One example is the famous Vladimir Putin who was seen as the archenemy of the free United States of America, a disgrace of a criminal who poisoned his enemies and had countless numbers disappear. But today? Trump and his supporters lavish all kinds of praise for the president-for-life. He is amusing, funny, good at Judo, entertaining, lovely to be around, and a buddy like no other to former President Trump, a fellow with a criminal trail of his own.

If we go back in history we can find many more examples, including Alexander the Great, who was really not so great. He is spoken of as the boy wonder, not to mention (quite literally not to mention) his brutal and savage murderous spree across the ancient world.
