Amazing, amazing article.

My favorite passage:

We stand divided, with each side shouting obscenities over the fence at one another as they contemplate their next move — picking up rocks and escalating the violence from words to deeds. Hopefully not, but it seems we got just a little taste of this during January 6th, an incident that should have been dealt with immediately as a criminal act from the lowliest MAGA follower up to the president encouraging an insurrection. The older we get the more we cry, "My, how times have changed!"
